Zinc Coating Green Passivation
Hexavalent green passivation is a surface treatment applied after electrolytic zinc plating and provides the highest corrosion resistance among passivation types. Thanks to its thick and dense passive film layer, it offers long-term protection in salty and aggressive environmental conditions and demonstrates high durability performance under ISO 9227 salt spray test conditions.
Due to its high corrosion resistance, it is preferred in military vehicle equipment, heavy-duty components, and applications exposed to harsh environmental conditions. It stands out as a performance-oriented solution, especially in projects requiring maximum surface protection.
This type of passivation, specific to hexavalent systems, is increasingly being evaluated together with Cr+3 (trivalent) alternative systems in line with environmental and regulatory requirements.
